Rinjani
Trekking - Lombok |

 If
its trekking you're after then look no further than the
towering peak of Mt. Rinjani and its awesome crater rim
and crater lakes. Climbing high over northern Lombok is
the immense Gunung Rinjani, the second highest mountain
in Indonesia and one of the best treks in all of south
eastern Asia. If you want incredible views, challenging
trekking and awesome scenery then the Mt Rinjani trek is
for you! Mt. Rinjani is actually
made up of the peak of Gunung Rinjani (3726m) ,which has
never erupted, Danau Segara Anak , the crater lake and
Mt. Baru (2351m), a much younger cone within the crater
lake. Gunung Baru erupted as recently as 2004.
Most of the area around Mt Rinjani was declared a
national park in 1997. Over 6000 trekkers were drawn to
the mountains mystique and challenging climbing in 2008
and positive steps have been made to direct some of the
tourist dollars towards upkeep of the park. |

will take you to meet one of the human's closest living
relatives in animal kingdoms: Orangutan -
Pongo Pygmaeus
sp. living free at their natural home at Camp Leakey,
Tanjung Harapan and Pondok Tanguy stations inside the
misty rain forest surrounded by proboscis monkeys,
macaques, gibbons, birds including the giant hornbills
and other exotic flora and fauna. You will explore the
quit river on a traditional boat, Called "KLOTOK" and
having some short walk around the stations. |

 Join
us in Komodo Archipelago to experience an encounter with
the fearsome Komodo dragons, the world largest lizard.
Growing up to 3 meters in length and up to 140
kilograms, Komodo considered the last of their kind
remaining in the world today. Komodo Island - located
between the islands of Sumbawa and Flores - is now a
national park and also home to number of rare birds,
deer and wild pigs which are prey to the lizards as
well.
Called "ORA" by the local people, Komodo Dragon (Varanus
Komodoensis) is actually a giant monitor lizard. Its
ancestors roamed the earth up to about half a million
years ago. Komodo live on goat, deer and even the
carcasses of its own kind. The only human population on
the island is at the fishing village called Komodo who
supplement their income breeding goats which are used to
feed the lizard. |

sea kayaking. We use real "sit in" sea kayaks so you do
less work and have more fun! You will be accompanied by
our own Adventure Lombok Sampan or traditional fishing
boat to ensure your safety and to have the option of
having a rest where and when you want to.
 Travel
by traditional Sampan fishing boat from Senggigi beach
and enjoy the 90minute cruise to the islands. Our first
stop is tiny Gili Poh. Here we will adjust the sea
kayaks and begin a complete safety brief. Enjoy a fresh
fruit breakfast on the Island before starting our first
paddling leg towards Gili Ringgit, home to a few local
fisherman and thousands of tropical fish who are waiting
to meet you! |
